What captivates viewers about Daniel’s watercolour paintings is his rich and vibrant use of colours. On closer examination, one can see the transparency and opaque effects executed by a skilful watercolourist. His subject matters vary but all reflect the wealth of colours and his own skills and talent. Daniel received his training from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and is constantly seeking to improve and expand his knowledge through the tutelage from other art teachers in mediums such as oil painting.
